It also says a lot about a person that would accept more money to stay home over getting a lot of money and the experience of training with Manny Pacquiao.

If that's the case then that's definitely someone I wouldn't want to be training with anyways. But that's just me.

Shady thing to do. But it's the same reason why Mayweather will probably win - that commitment/desperation to win.

Once Floyd announced it then Pacquiao released his side saying it was signed but no duh.
You really crack me up. A "know-it-all" who conveniently makes up his own "facts" to argue a point that only a child would deem relevant. But let me partake in your folly. Stop pretending that you know anything about business. It's blatantly obvious that you don't. Let me help you understand. If there is a contract to sign, there has been agreement. Otherwise, there would be no contract. Do you understand that? If you really are smart and have actually dealt with million dollar contracts in real life, you would know that unless a contract is signed, the agreement is non-binding which means that either party can move the goal post. Obviously, there was a contract to sign because agreement had been reached at that time. Pacman signed that contract but because Floyd wanted to move the goal post like he always does, he then claims that there is no contract. The guy is illiterate and wouldn't know the difference between a contract and an agreement. BUT, he does know for sure that there will be flowmoes like you who will be chomping at the bit at anything he says to denigrate Pac. Flowmoes, like you, who pretend to know 'business'. Now back to the world of adults.

I don't want to believe this is true . I believe Floyd and the rest of his team are good people, and good people play fair.

I believe this is all a misunderstanding. I'm sure Pacquiao's sparring partners will show up on time and will be ready to help him prepare for May 2nd.

              Just think positive everyone! !!!!

The reason why I always come to bat for Floyd is that I dislike liars and excuse makers. Not so much about Mayweather but rather people trying to call other people out for what are the facts and the truth. It is completely mind boggling what people will make themselves believe just to be right even with all the facts right there. I am just waiting for May 2nd.
Here you again, making up cold hard facts by GRUSTLER THE FACT MAKER. But I'll let you slide this time. Now, I see that you are also a morally-pretentious hypocrite. Let me quote you "The reason why I always come to bat for Floyd is that I dislike liars and excuse makers". REALLY???? You dislike liars and excuse makers but yet you come to bat for a WIFE BEATER??? and that's just one of the many redeeming qualities of SAINT FLOYD MAYWEATHER. There's more of that where it came from. Just let me know.

No it doesn't. This is the business of boxing and stuff like this has been going on for a long, long time.

Manny Steward did it to keep Tyson from getting good sparring to prepare for Lennox Lewis, he paid the guys to just come to camp and hang out if I remember correctly. It happens all the time.

                    It's called business.

Many of these guys don't make six figures a year. So a few thousand or several extra thousands means a lot more to them.

"The reason that I was there in the camp for the Mike Tyson fight in particular, because I had other work to do, but I was there to watch Maurice Harris. Mike Tyson's camp had asked us [Bashir and Harris] to come to Hawaii when Mike was training for the Lennox Lewis fight, and Emanuel suggested to Lennox to hire Maurice Harris for some astronomical number. In fact, they paid him $5,000 a week just to live in the camp. That was unheard of at that time. Some guys could get $3,000 or so for a camp, it just depends on how bad somebody needs them. But for that particular camp, Emanuel Steward suggested to Lennox Lewis that he hire Maurice Harris just to live in the camp to see that he could not be assistance to Mike Tyson. In Emanuel's mind, the only fighter that could possibly prepare Mike Tyson to fight Lennox Lewis was Maurice Harris, and the reason Emanuel thought that about Maurice is because Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis both used Maurice Harris as sparring partners at the same time. Both of them knew that the other one was using him. And Emanuel, being the scientist that he is, said, "Look, this is the only guy that can prepare him and get him sharp enough to beat you, so what we need to do is lock his services up right now. We're not going to box him, but we're gonna house him. We're going to give him $5,000 to come here and live in this camp and train in this camp and survive in this camp so we will know where he's at. We don't want him with Mike Tyson."
