What was the deal with not showing Thurmans belt?

They never mentioned the sanctioning bodies at all. We only heard welterweight champion or former champion etc. I think you're right PBC belts coming soon.

Didn't realize that about the belts.. Sounds far fetched for Haymon to create PBC belts but interesting none the less.

Which doesn't make sense considering they were all alphabet champs, not real champs

They will have their own belt, it's coming

yeah and even when they mention mayweather and pacquaio the commentator stutter and mumbled a bit like he had a gag order on not to mention sanctioning bodies. He was like "thurman the champion at welterweight behind mayweather and manny who are the .... umm. umm. legit champion."

In a division with Mayweather and Pacquiao, I'd imagine it could cause too much confusion, and they don't want to fuck with the Mayweather-Pacquiao promotion. WBA's second tier "regular" belt is pretty insignificant anyway.

No that's not what's is about. They wouldn't mentioned any sanctioning body or any title.
