Only people who complaining are the people who want this thing to fail to begin with.
It was trending on Twitter, Social Media was talking about it, Broner was trend, Thurman was trending, Guerrero, #NBCBoxing was trending so never mind the trolling crybabies on this forum.
Overdid it a bit with the production but I understand why, you have to introduce the fighters to a new Audience but for us that already know them and their story it was a bit annoying waiting for the fight to start.
Yeah I thought the Ring Entrance would have Worked but it was a bit weird. At least have the fighter walk with his Trainer and also the Generic Music ******.
Ray Leonard was never a good Commentator to be honest, maybe let BJ Flores be the 3rd Man with Ray Leonard doing like Roy Jones and chiming in every now and again. Ray Leonard actually did better when he was talking with Al Michaels before the event started. But I would keep Ray Leonard, he i a great ambassador for the sport! Marv Alberts was a OK Play By Play guy.
Al Michaels was a excellent Host I enjoyed his segments, I still wish he was the Play By Play Guy. The Setup was nice though, looked good on TV but the ring was HUGE.
First Show...NOT BAD! Have some work to do and and some improvements to make OF COURSE but overall Boxing Is Boxing. No different than HBO or Showtime, only think they did was put more EFFORT into the overall production. But once the Bell Rung...IT WAS STILL BOXING!

How the **** do you go into a fight talking about going to war and being a gladiator then go into the fight with a guy standing directly in front of you flat footed for 11 out of 12 rounds and you throw 200 punches and land 40 the whole fight. The only round you go into intending to move your ****ing hands is in the final round when you've already lost every other rounds without even trying to win. Then in the post fight interview you complain " i thought he was going to stand and fight not run." Lmfao fking clown. Atleast admit you didn't do **** i mean your own ****ing corner was begging you to throw punches every single fking round.
Made boxing look like ****, broner actually fought really well and the fight would have been even better than thurman-guerrero if this molina motherfker didn't fight like he had a d*ck in his ******* for 12 rounds. Made broner kinda look bad too and disgraced his own nickname and his promoter trying to market him like a real warrior. Made joe goosen look bad.
Only place this guy ever belongs in is telemundo fighting mexican midgets at 2am for 3000$.
The true ****ing can man right here, belongs in the garbage-can. Bye.

But then they aired a promo with Deontey Wilder where he proclaimed himself as THE Heavyweight Champion of the world. Lets see if they announce him like that when he fights, and ignore Wlad Klitschko. Then they're clearly not helping the sport or help educating new fans.
I see what Haymon is doing here. While it may be good for the sport in the long run, people like us who know boxing are going to be frustrated. He is only going to showcase his fighters, and the sanctioning bodies might as well not even exist.
Im interested to see what they will say during the Lee/Quillen fight. Will they mention GGG at all? It's looking like no.

Prime time #NBCBoxing helped satisfy my sports sweet tooth in the absence of football! Cool.

and on and on and on.
That's the main thing, producing great fights. Not all this other dumb shit some of you are talking about that can easily be cleaned up.

Meh, wasn't a great card. Fights were boring, aside from a few moments in Guerrero/Thurman fight.
3/10.
