I still ride with Mares till the wheels come off - I won't forget all the great fights he's given us - but today he seemed really gunshy

After Agbeko I fight with all the low blows, I lost interest in the guy. Hate to say it though friend, he HAS to face Gonzalez again AND beat him, or he has no chance of redemption in most fan's view.

He fought a feather fisted bum and did not impress at all or entertain. Mares doesn't beat any top fighter at 126 or 122 with that perfermance. Problem is guys like LSC and Mares keep fighting club fighter after club fighter for no reason that they get away with mistakes that there opponents are incapable of exploiting. Both Mares and LSC are regressing as fighters
