Man I've been saying it for the longest. Guerrero is a solid B fighter. Plodding & holding and hitting is his thing. Great chin, great heart but that's it. And he just came up from lightweight his best win being hypejob berto who is now regulated to FNF levels

Is Guererro better than Rios, Bradley, and Algeri? I would say Bradley is better, but after seeing Ruslan dismantle Bradley, I would say Guererro is better than all 3.

        • Guerrero to me, is more of a junior welterweight. His best success was in the lower divisions.

After Berto, he stayed at 147 just because the $$$ was there ..with Floyd. He also got paid a decent wage against Thurman.

Guerrero would be highly competitive with the best at 140... Garcia, Crawford, lucas, Provo, Broner, Postol.

I don't think Guererro can make 140 again. If I'm Haymon, I put the loser of Garcia vs. Peterson against Guererro @ 147.

You're right.. He's already established at 147 and settled in. The loser of Garcia/Peterson is ok.

Other possibilities... Chaves, Porter, Sadam Ali.

                I'd like to see Guerrero-Chaves. ...or Guerrero-Rios.

When he went inside robert headbutted him...Thurman couldnt afford to take any more damage and risk a stoppage. No fighter should risk an easy points victory with a dangerous injury like that. Either you dont under stand even the most basic ideas of strategy, or you are a world class hater....who knows they are world class. At some point you have to admit this kid has the goods. Or you have to keep being a troll...but i guess at least you know you are now. So you have that going for you.
Thurman is a middleweight fighting at welterweight. he was 162 last night. when he cant make welter anymore which will be soon and goes to JM you will not hear of him much and he will be KO'd

                    • Guerrero is a great fighter. I don't know why people are trashing him. He's no bum. He got beat by a faster hungrier and stronger fighter last night. All credit should be given to Keith for doing what he did last night.
