163 against 157....MW division, where you at? Also.....did not quite understand why Ghost was in boxing mode instead of what he did later in the fight when fighting up close. Maybe he didn't get the greenlight to do so until round 8 or something? Who knows but solid win for Thurman. Whooping up on much smaller opponents but since he can make the weight, solid win.

I will say that his right hand is pretty sick, he packs a lot of power with that straight right.

Is every fight that you pick horribly wrong a fix?

he was supposed to KO no defense having bum Guerrero, if he cant get a punching bag like this out of there then he will struggle like hell against anyone close to elite

let's face it, Thurman's just a good fighter, it's time to accept he's not special

          never was

he should never be mentioned in the same breath as GGG or Rigo (extremely feared, ducked, p4p king in the making etc) ever again
To be fair, you do know that Ghost has never been stopped before right?

No, mainly just the Hymen ones. Molina throws one punch every 40 seconds and out of the blue, Ghost fights a completely different fight than what has worked for him in his last few wins. Not far fetched at all........there are plenty of people besides myself who think the Molina fight looked like a complete fix. I'm sure plenty of those people thought Broner was going to win heading into it.

Did it ever occur to you that The Ghost was very cautious of Thurman's power? It's not so easy to make a Thurman fight a dog fight. He moves pretty well for his size and packs a lot of power. Also has a stiff jab which can blind you and set up vicious right hands. So he can't just walk in and smother him. The only reason he was successful in doing so for one round is I think Thurman was tired and decided to fight that kind of fight with him for a short stint to take a rest. I don't believe Thurman had much respect for his power.

Molina never throws a bunch of punches. Plus Broner isn't the biggest puncher but he throws in bunches and has very fast hands. I don't think the idea of getting countered with 2 or 3 punches by the faster man was in the best interest of Molina. He's just a walking punching bag that has some power if he lands some wild **** he throws. Just looking for that one punch that Mickey Bey happen to let him land. Other than that there was really not much chance Broner would lose this fight. Which makes me question his heart since he turned this fight down before to take the other Molina even though I knew John Molina would be a relatively easy low risk fight for him. Something must of scared him away or maybe he felt he could look better against the other Molina. But both fights we're very unentertaining anyway.

I agree Thurman is good, not great, but saying stuff like Ghost is a "no defense having bum" is probably why you are in the red, and rightfully so.

                  • This is the moment in which, Guererro, knew he was going to be sharing the ring with a born killa.

                    Keith Krazy Eye Thurman.
