I'm down with the no entourage deal. That **** is ******, hope they get rid of them at the weigh-ins too. I appreciate how the UFC has only 1-2 people accompany the fighter to the scale. Boxing weigh-ins are freaking joke with 20-30 people up there at once all acting important. The event is about the fighters, F-off parasites. I've seen ring girls almost pushed off the stage from some of these idiots wanting so badly to be apart of the event.

I'd also like to see them take a page from the UFC and have a designated cutt-man.

I wonder if they can come out to the Chicago Bulls theme.. maybe use that announcer over the PA too. I'm honestly not sure what to think if there isn't an announcer for the tv fights.

hopefully this just indicates that they want to pace the show properly. But they should have an announcer for the main event at least.

I remember big historical events having a ring announcer in WWF/WWE but I don't think it would work with their normal shows since most of the time wrestlers just run out in their panties and jump in mid-fight..

Agree with most of the other posts, no entourage is fine and cures some of the trashy image of boxing by not having some guy's third uncle starting a brawl, but I don't understand no announcer.

they do. I dont think they show them all the time though and it get overshadowed by the music, jumbotron video, and fireworks. Might as well be a PA person

I watch for the fights, not really into entourages. But no announcer is kind of lame.
