Tyson is absolutely right Floyd will have to fight pacquiao. We all know marquez gave Pacquiao the most problems. He's a great counterpuncher but a good attacker as well. When marquez fought mayweather Floyd made him look like an amateur because he's the superior counterpuncher and was the greatest opposition marquez ever faced and knows he can't beat him and is also why he wouldn't fight him again.mayweather will have to engage in a firefight with pacquiao at some point question remains will be be able to handle the southpaws speed and power and of course how will manny deal with Floyd's counter right hand. We'll see.

Personally I don't think Mayweather would give up so easily. He has more heart than he gets credit for. Also, since he clearly puts so much emphasis on being undefeated , I think he'll do whatever it takes. But we'll have to wait and see.

I agree with you I do believe mayweather will be victorious in the end. My question remains how will Floyd react to Manny's style? Let's face it he's no maidana he's a lot faster and a better boxer. Also manny is a southpaw let's not forget Judah had mayweather on his heels for the first four rounds. Who knows what would've really happened had he been a disciplined fighter. Now how will manny react to Floyd's counters? Floyd is a much better boxer than Marquez and we seen what Floyd did to juan and Marquez took pacquiao to hell and back and back again it will be a good fight Floyd will win but it won't be one sided.

          Excellent post! absolutely right.

Yep, Pac is going to bring out the best in Mayweather. Floyd is going to dig deep for this one.

Are you serious? Name one fighter who has successfully walked down Manny pacquiao? Once Floyd feels mannys power, he will do like all of pacquiaos other opponents and either run or clam up. Evander holyfield is right it will come down to can Manny catch Floyd and cut the ring off and I think he proved he can in many fights in the past and he did it perfectly in the algieri fight. I can't believe they haven't yet reported that Miguel cotto predicted Manny pacquiao to win on ESPN first take. He said mannys footwork and speed would be the difference. Also teddy atlas predicted pacquiao would win to Ellie sechback. He said mayweather couldn't overcome mannys volume punching. Teddy atlas was mannys number 1 hater. Now lets see.. We have Shawn porter, Miguel cotto, Kenny porter, teddy atlas, Roberto Duran, spinx, Tyson, Larry Holmes, nacho baristain, and a whole slew of other all time greats predicting pacquiao will win. Let the pacquiao hating begin by mayweather sword swallowers in 3......... 2..........1.....

Well you can see what happens when a fast volume puncher with discipline and stamina faces Floyd he can beat him as we all saw in the first Castillo fight. Zab Judah gassed out, which is why mayweather took over that fight. Manny is alot faster, powerful, and more skilled overall than that zab Judah. Manny is going to make mayweather look old overnight. I really hope Manny goes for it and knocks Floyd out, but either way I see him earning a decision victory because of his speed and volume punching as Miguel cotto and teddy atlas both said recently which this website has yet to report

I believe there will be parts of the fight where Floyd has to engage. To Floyd's credit, whenever he's been hurt or forced to fight, he's shown a great chin, heart and willingness to win so anybody though thinks Floyd can't fight if he needs to might be in for a surprise if it comes down to it.

I'm just hoping for a competitive fight and may the best man win. I'm picking Floyd by UD but i have no preference.

Lol, they're just opinions. That has 0 effect on the outcome of the fight.

The last time I had such difficulty calling who'd win was Cotto vs Margarito I.
This fight is gonna have to be a "game" time decision.Hurry up already.
