  • Do you have a bad feeling about ROC Nation

Yes they have the Jigga Mane, yes they have the money, yes they have free hip hop concerts......

But they already have beef with Haymon...REAL BEEF at that
Getting close to having beef with Top Rank
Can they keep there fighters active?
Can they secure meaningful fights and opponents for there overpaid Fighters?

If the 50 million dollar cotto rumor is true, then it seems that rock nation does not properly know how to gauge the value of fighters. It just seems like they know how to write big checks, and hope that by just signing big names, they will able to make noise in the boxing world.

I think only time will dictate success or plight. But in the scheme of things more boxing competition regarding more promotional banners gives more spotlight to the sport where it has lost a lot of ground over the years.

50 was beefing with DLH and with Mayweather. That also eliminated working with Haymon. He messed up his options early on.

I got a feeling that BEyonce had better add a few more stops on her next tour to cover Cotto's contract.

Boxing promotion is a risky game and they are coming in large and flashy.

They have to spend money to make money, but what I would want to see with this is them signing up a gang of young fighters building from the ground up or before they blow. That is what really determines if you can make it or break it in boxing. Buying top end guys can work but it is pricey and not without risks, so off setting some costs by having some home grown guys built into something is a huge key.

It is easier to attract good young talent if you already have your name up in lights and are known to pay well.
