and when you dont have options and you're at the tail end of you career, when you go to a young cash cow like Canelo, who can afford to pass you up and milk his own, the leverage isn't as great

Cotto lost a Floyd fight...he can't fight Manny...he wont fight GGG...its limited for him
I'm not ruling out Haymon's stable, the only guy mattering is Mayweather anyway. Oscar won't work with Haymon either, Canelo and Cotto have the same options at the end of the day. So no one lost or gained any leverage.

all those fights can actually happen for the same reason, too much money to let go... same reason we are getting floyd-pac now...

        Les Moonves?

You think Oscar is working with Haymon now too? They just decided who is keeping who, now you think they'll work together. Man, you guys are Mexican that's for sure. Take a beating but you keep coming forward I'll give you that much.

He still has a couple of fights available.... the k9 fight for the ibf title... he wins that he can fight floyd, lara, boo boo as his "big fights" and for other fights possibly a rematch with clottey and trout, or other 154 lbrs.

you prob dont know but roach said recently that he wants pac-canelo at 152(they can negotiate from there)...
for the right money anything can happen...
and as for passing on the fight, canelo passing on cotto is not a problem due to his age, he can still get a big fight in the future, cotto is on his last fights and can pass on canelo but i dont see him getting any other big fights since he is on his way out...

Canelo doesn't need Cotto because he can fight Manny... Sad this is what you guys are now saying.

Imagine what Arum would do if Cotto was young and in his prime... You don't; you just need to look at Floyd Mayweather Jr.

yes canelo is young and he has alot of years ahead of him (imo i really hope he learns how to cut off a ring and be more active, as in throwing more punches in fights) as for cotto... see my reply to mak:
