So out of the Roc Nation deal Cotto is getting concerts in PR and his stable featured on RN fight cards...I wonder how many fights Cotto locked himself into for this.

floyd doesnt look like a viable option now, the rest of the fights are not big, lara and poo poo are great challenges but you cant hardly make a ppv fight out of those, clottey and trout are nothing more than stay busy fights ...yes canelo is young and he has alot of years ahead of him (imo i really hope he learns how to cut off a ring and be more active, as in throwing more punches in fights) as for cotto... see my reply to mak:
He still has a couple of fights available.... the k9 fight for the ibf title... he wins that he can fight floyd, lara, boo boo as his "big fights" and for other fights possibly a rematch with clottey and trout, or other 154 lbrs.Comment

they also are gonna co-promote the PR fights for like 5-7 years I think. Concerts in PR... meaning that Jay-Z would also expand his music to PR, or bring some PR "rappers/reggeaton" guys to nyc. Add that to the foundation that cotto has that they are gonna work together on and its a really great deal for cotto and jay zComment

The problem with joining with Roc nation is, who is Cotto going to fight? Haymon fighters are off the table since Haymon will never work with Roc nation it seems, and he now burned the bridge with Top Rank.Comment

well yea not right now, but imo it depends if he wins his next fight. Lets say floyd wins, and cotto fights K9 and wins... they can have a unification fight. Not this year cuz between june-september it wont be enough time... cotto can also have a unification fight with Boo Boo or lara (even tho is a "regular" title). Yea the clottey and trout fights would be "filler or stay busy" fights.Comment
