I thinks its more to do with Richard Schaefer not being there anymore, Beckerman (Head of AEG) has a close relationship with Schaefer.

The man cannot be trusted was more in line with haymon and mayweather than the actual fairness of golden boy promotions and would have eventually sold oscar up the river......and just by his comments he is not a true boxing man and for him it was just about business and not about boxing...I believe boxing is in your blood and any guy that can dismiss boxing shows his intentions...good riddance

U shut up....Schaefer never had no loyalty to boxing or to golden boy and was actually harming the sport by favouring al haymon.....now as for the race card being pulled on may vs PAC May 2nd not at all.....in fact truth be known this was a tactic to actually make mayweather sign the fight with PAC and not let hi choose any easy opponent for easy money...he always said canelo will be moved if the super fight was signed......added with fan and media demand......les moonves and CBS pressure ....and a non ppv canelo fight on the same night was more than enough to back mayweather into a corner...use your brain

The cold war started when oscar started golden boy. Oscar sat back and got paid while rich did all the work. And arum is still pissed off that oscar gets 10% of all pacs fights. Arum has done more in house fights than any other promotional company. And until arum does a fight deal with gbp, the cold war is still on
