They were on the verge of crushing TR. They had just promoted the Canelo fight which was the highest grossing fight of all time. And you think they were losing money lmao.

So the equity investors wanted out because they were making gobs of money? Top Rank about to be crushed? LOL. You are just fabricating things now.

I never heard anything about investors wanting out. Schaefers never had any problems before. Haymon didn't seem to have any problems securing investors for the PBC. TR was shipping Manny off to China. I call that crushing TR.

People still calling Schaefer a snake, him and Oscar was BUSINESS PARTNERS he wasn't WORKING FOR OSCAR like some think he was. Schaefer invest his money as well as did Bernard Hopkins and a few others who recently pulled out of invest after Schaefer left.

Schaefer had every right to try and remove the guy who was in Rehab while they was in the middle of promoting Mayweather vs Canelo! That is BAD for Business! Oscar will find out how hard it is to run a promotion without the man that had the "KNOW HOW" and the connection with the BIG WIGS like AEG and other big time Investors

Schafer was and is a dirty Swiss banker... He was cutting side deals with Haymon and allowed him to use Golden Boy to build his fighters without any long term commitment. A huge NO NO in boxing.... Schafer ruined Golden Boy relationship with HBO and Top Rank, Tutor, and Goosen. Schafer and Haymon are not boxing guys, Haymon signed these TV deals great for him bad for the networks and his fighters... This is the same trick he pulled on Showtime, 3 good fights to start and after that. Garcia vs. Salka. Oscar was done with Schafer and Haymon tatics when they put Danny Garcia vs. Salka and Peterson against a bum on Showtime. Showtime look like fools for signing Mayweather and a Golden Boy with Schafer at the helm. Now not one of these networks got exclusive rights. You will not see anything worth watching after these first couple of fights just like the Showtime deal... People over there jobs were on the line if this Pac deal didn't get done because that deal would have been a lose and not to mention Canelo and other Golden Boy starts are back on HBO... All top fights will be on PPV period. You won't see Kahn vs. Broner on PBC or Thurman vs. Garcia. You will get 3 to 5 good fights and the rest will be tune up / stay busy fight like Garcia vs. Salka that HBO and Showtime would no longer pay for... Does anybody do they homework??? Did they find out how Haymon basically got put out / black listed from the music industry before he found his next scheme... Dude is Don King 2K... Schafer and Haymon are bad for boxing...

Obviously you haven't heard about it...but it is fact. Your "crushing TR" bit is a construct of your own mind.

Schaefer was hired by Oscar. The company was founded with Oscar's money. Richard was Oscar's employee.

Oscar owned controlling interest at all times.

You're absolutely right, it is Oscar's NAME so he does have controlling interest and now he likely has full control with Schaefer gone and the investing pulling out. Oscar has the name but Schaefer had the KNOW HOW and he was the one pulling in the investors and getting the trust of the investors.

Oscar was right fighting for and taking back his company but he also dug himself in that hole by not controlling his demons. If working with Haymon was "BEST FOR BUSINESS" then how can anybody knock a CEO for doing what is BEST FOR BUSINESS! That is what he is suppose to do, you can't worry about Oscar's feelings, it is other people Money invested in that Company. It is not ironic that after the Schaefer fall out, AEG and others pulled out of their investment with Golden Boy Promotions!
