I hope its true that Miguel Cotto and JaY z are going to be on firsttake tomorrow. Todd offered him Canelo the BIGGEST fight possible other than Floyd vs. Pac, so that is breadcrumbs now? what is he going to get with Roc Nation? If you think Arum and Haymon hated each other, well Jay Z is basically Haymons enemy for real, Haymon will NEVER EVER EVER do business with Jay, he even told his fighters to forfiet titles when Roc Nation won purse bids. So the only other option for Cottto at 160 is to face GGG lol.

Cotto is a cold dude, he is the one who is not loyal, look what he did to his own uncle, his uncle is very strict and like a drill Sargent but he was just doing his job as a trainer Cotto punched him and humiliated him in the gym his OWN uncle just because his uncle told him to stop being lazy.

The Roc Nation deal is about more than just boxing.

But it makes you wonder what specifically is in the boxing part of the deal.

That really doesn't matter when RocNation can offer Cotto a lot more advantages outside of boxing. It's strange to say because Top Rank is one of the best boxing promoters around still and probably the best the past 50 years, however, boxing needs to spread it's wings. Jay-Z and Haymon are willing to do that whereas Top Rank is not.

No amount of guaranteed money is going to set up Cotto for the rest of life like Rocnation can outside of boxing. Top Rank is not the big dog in town anymore and they have no way of figuring out how to change that.

Cotto never had a problem fighting in May or Vegas, how many times have you been told this? Canelo needs to offer more money then it's as simple as that. At least Cotto entertained a fight away from home, getting 500k more than Canelo is not going to make him to move though. And even still Cotto didn't say no, Canelo got up and left.

So let me get this straight, Cotto was offered 10 mill to fight canelo before Cotto won the belt. Then after Cotto won the belt he's offered 10.5 mill and he's supposed to be ecstatic? Lmao would seem to me that Cotto should get a little more now. GBP out bid them selves by offering Cotto 10 mill with out the title, then really expect him to accept the same purse with a 50-50 split after winning the WBC title, that's ******.
