He's no more his own boss than you or I.
Got news for you if that contract didn't say he's obligated to fight Manny or any other specific fighter for that matter Floyd would've told Les to **** off ... Through an attorney of course. I don't pretend to know the details of his contract and I doubt anyone else on this site does either.

Who ever ask for names I just provided the link that says who Roach picked to spar with Manny. If those reported suppose sparring partners didn't show up, then it's confirmed.

Yup. Neither Pacquaio nor Mayweather HAVE to agree to fight each other at this stage of their careers. They behave as if they are random contestants off the street trying to get a spot on American Idol.

Now you're risking money being lost. That ain't what's up. I'm Judy saying do a little gamesmanship. I dig it

            • If I'm Manny I'm asking myself why isn't my team this clever? Why aren't the people I have around me trying to do their best to make sure Mayweather is at his best? ...

Don't give me that "Manny is above those dirty tactics" draining/fighting guys weight classes below or fighting bigger guys at catch weights while not illegal isn't something to be admired either...

                • This is not the first time Floyd tries to destroy opponents' preparations because Canelo had similar problems in his preparations for Floyd. He had problems finding sparring partners but he found these three after a while...

...they then went to Shane Mosley's camp in Big Bear. However, as soon as Floyd found out who these sparring partners were he seems to have paid two of them to leave immediately. So Canelo only had one sparring partner in his preparation for Floyd. However, Shane's son also tried to help, I think.

I don't remember which two of the three sparring partners that were paid but I recognize the fighter on the left in the picture, that's Keandre Gibson.

                  .

                  • Bizarre if true. But I doubt it is. Freddie talks a lot of crap in the build up to fights.

He didn't have to fight money, he was supposed to make money. You think Showtime signed that contract with the clause that "Floyd can't make money and there is nothing you can do about it?" Floyd got to fight who he wanted, Les said this **** isn't going to fly and he had to fight Manny to make the contract valid. Showtime had every right to say Floyd wasn't living up to his end by not living up to the money he was supposed to be making. I don't need a contract to know everything revolves around money.
