Sparring partners will not be the deciding factor is how this fight is won. If Manny is going to beat Floyd it won't be because his sparring partners or vice versa. The better man will just win plain and simple.

I am guessing you didn't read the article so imma tell you what's going on. Roach claims that Al is blocking the sparring mates that he have picked to spar with Manny.

You're right, it's Freddie's job to get him ready that's why he picked those two to prepare Manny against Floyds style. See for yourself if these two fighters will somehow imitate, or close enough to mimic Floyds fighting style.

A pair of unbeaten prospects will test Pacquiao when he arrives at the Wild Card Gym next week to officially begin training camp

No it's not the deciding factor but it's a factor none the less. The more you spar with someone with similar fighting style as your opponent, the better you prepare for that opponent. Why do you think Trainers pick sparring partners for their fighters for their upcoming opponents? Key word PICK, not just a spring partner, they do research for that particular fighting style similar to their fighters opponent.

Have you had prior past working relationship with Alvin Haymon to make such a claim as "that sounds like something Haymon would totally do" or are you a hater who just doesn't like the man for no good reason.
Kinda arrogant there aren't ya? You a Haymon employee or something there bub? Case you hadn't noticed, Haymon can be kinda slimy. Oh I'm sorry I forgot... he's good for boxing. HA

It is pretty sick though, Floydie camp dropping big piles of cash to do anything they can to win. Shows desperation really, IMO. Guy's been backed into a corner and is whimpering like a captured fawn.

I know what's going on, I simply don't care much. Whether true or not, it's pointless whining. Those guys emulate floyd about as much as the next person. Roach said it wasn't an issue for him. So moving on to the fight it shouldn't be an issue. Manny is a world class p4p great. Roach is one of the top 5 or so trainers in the world. No excuses. Made up, imagined or otherwise

I doubt it's true... Maybe one guy, but I doubt a bunch of fighters... How many guys can really emulate floyd

I guess I can't argue with you if that's your prerogative, if money is that more important to you than moral values, then it's pointless to argue with you. Peace!

Damn near everybody has used Karl Dargan who is supposed to be closet to Floyd style as sparring since the De La Hoya and guess they all still lost. Nobody is going to get the other ready truly for what they are going to see on May 2nd. You maybe be able to emulate somebody but it still won't get you ready for the original.
