Groves don't want those problems again, he was lucky to get the decision in the 1st Fight, he gets STOPPED in the Rematch and he knows it! DeGale has gotten BETTER since that 1st Fight!

It's a pretty gay mentality but as is often pointed out - both by fanboys and the boxers themselves - bahxin' idda bidniss.
Except that in Khan's case he was aiming for P4P Kings (or co-Kings I guess) and his back up was a at least $5 Million showdown. Either ways it is Millions.

Groves here is as Dirk said wanting to get spanked in some bingo hall for 6 figures and his back up plan is the more lucrative option.

While, both fighters' "back-up" plan is a more lucrative bout, Khan is chasing prestige by going after Mayweather, where as beating Direll or Degale counts for same for Groves, so might as well get paid more for it.

Groves knows that the "buture's fright and the buture's chunky".

like i said he would most likely get knocked out by all of them. i know it would lose its luster but again, degale despises groves and i think that loss still burns him up enough to make the fight regardless. its still a decent sized domestic fight given their bad blood and past history even if george gets flattened again. peanuts or not groves would get another title shot.

And now he's not fighting either and he will still not contemplate the idea of fighting Brook.

Who is Khan fighting in the first half of 2015 btw?

I must have missed the huge PPV announcement or something...

Don't worry, you would never miss any Khan announcement given your disturbing obsession with the man.

Well, the first half of 2015 involved the Cult pushing Mayweather in to the corner, which resulted in the Pacquiao bout, which is an eliminator to fight Khan and save boxing in the process.

Since, Brook has won the title Hearn was going off "Wembley, Wembley". So, the December defense that was planned wasn't going to work out. Not to mention he got stabbed.

Now, he has a mandatory lined up for March 28th.

Only at this point in time it makes perfect sense for it to happen.

As for not contemplating, there was an article on this site regarding that:

According to promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport, who promotes IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook, negotiations have begun for a summer showdown with dome
