Mayweather wins this fight. I just don't see what Pacquiao can do to win. I kno what Pacquiao is capable of but I don't see how that will work against Mayweather. Pacquiao is capable of throwing a lot of punches at different angles but not like Mike Tyeon did he moves and throws them from outside so his punches are coming from different angles but it's only because of his movement other then that they're straight in fact Pacquiao rarely fights inside he likes to hav full extension on his punches. He especially does this even more so in his fights w Marquez because of Marquez reach and counter ability. Against Marquez and even Bradley he didn't use angles he just beat them to the punch for the most part. Mayweather has a 5" reach advantage and a 2" height advantage that 7" inches Pacquiao punches will hav to travel extra just to hit Mayweather. Pacquiao will hav to be incredibly fast or Mayweather will have to be a lot slower then he has been ever. The second most likely to happen. Another one of Pacquiao problems is he's a headhunter no body work at all because of that it makes it easier to time him. I don't see Mayweather being hurt in the fight. I think Pacquiao will hit him but most of the sting will be gone from the punches because Mayweather has too much time to see them coming. Mosley has the same height and reach as Mayweather and was able to land probably the best punches ever landed on him but I don't see Pacquiao doing anything that clean. Best case scenario for Pacquiao is a punch like Maidana had and considering Pacquiao is not a wild fighter or throws overhand lefts that may not happen either maybe off an exchange but not likely there will be to many opportunities for that. Roach himself says he has to hav the perfect plan for this fight and that perfect plan has to be perfectly executed that's asking a lot. Let's hope Mayweather doesn't figure it out cuz plan B doesn't seem like an option. Yes Mayweather will pot shot, he will hold, and he will move away or run as people put it but that is no excuse I don't believe Roach or Pacquiao think otherwise so if they can't solve it now with the perfect gameplan then in the ring they hav no hope but a punchers chance.

As a left hand fighter pac has been warned many many times to watch out for the right hand. Well we saw what happened vs Jmm. And with one of the best lead rights in the game plus a brutal check hook for pacs jump in style. Its going to be a hellava fight for floyd.

good post... I've said it before.. only way Manny gets a good chance.. is PUNCHES IN BUNCHES.. no matter where they land.. just look busy and good..

unless he somehow develops awesome head movement..

still rooting for pac.. he's just more exciting to me.. I'm tired of Mayweather fighting flat footed, no head movement fighters..

Good post. Not because im a floyd fan but because you analyzed the fight with logic not heart. I would say the same if someone came up with a logical positive conclusion for pac. But all we get is floyd is gay and scared and broke lol just nonsense.

Marquez is a beast.. he takes to give.. on the other hand.. Mayweather is more of a defensive counter puncher.. where he's will not commit to a punch with that much power.. unless he's fighting Victor with his hands down..

It's gonna be similar to Mayweather/Maidana 2.. he's gonna get Kenny to ref.. and not allow Pac to get anywhere near him, and if he manages to, there will be a good amount of "tactical clinching" (as mayweather fans call it)

All I get is "47 have tried and 47 have failed".. or "he's lost" and blah blah.. I'm not a pac fan.. or may fan.. I do see that by controlling distance May wins.. but I can also see Manny wins rounds by just workrate.. BECAUSE nobody can tell me that Mayweather doesn't shell up when on the ropes.. so Manny can just throw (a la DLH) and land cause of the speed and get out..

awesome post sir, u got it goin on! u definitely are right about one thing Pacquiao is not an inside fighter, the one thing i keep wondering is when Mayweather intelligently starts to walk down Pac, like Mayweather does to all his opponents big or small, how will Pac respond? a lot of people imagine the fight taking place in the middle of the ring the whole time and that's definitely not the case, if anybody is gonna have to be on point with the clinching it's gonna have to be Pacquiao cuz floyd is gonna put him against the ropes during the fight from time to time
