is he even good at 154? trout, mayweather, and lara he looked pretty bad in all those fights. sure if he finds an angulo at 160 he could probably beat them but most the guys at 160 aren't punching bags so i'm sure he would struggle even more than he has at 154.

Man, the whole 160 division is there to be hit, even GGG. Lara is crafty, Trout was at his all time high, and Mayweather is Mayweather. Not to mention the dude is/was learning on the job. Especially in the Trout fight. That was hard core learning in the job and he did well.

A big part of his success at 154 is that he's physically stronger than his opponents. At 160 he'd lose that advantage so he could struggle against the top guys.

Murray has enough boxing ability to make it a rough fight for Canelo, he hasn't faced a true MW and nothing he's done recently suggests he has such an advantage of a solid MW in Murray.
