"If I had Canelo, I wouldn’t let him near that f***ing fight, you would have to be a f***ing moron to let that fight happen. He has zero chance, he would get his f***ing ass whopped all over the f***ing ring and worse than what Mayweather did. It’s a bad match up. Mayweather is not a puncher, but he is not a guy that is going to do you permanent damage—he’s not a guy that is going to so f*** up your psyche that you are never the same fighter. Golovkin would hurt him. If he was 32 then maybe, but not when the kid is 24 or 25 years old.”

I'd like to see Canelo make his real MW debut against Quillin, Murray, Andy Lee someone like that. We'd get to see how he deals with a full-size middleweight.
Throwing him in with Gennady right away would be criminal. He got outboxed by Floyd, but at least he got to leave the ring with his pretty face intact. Do Cinnamon's fans really want him to end up looking like Rosado did?
I really think Canelo-Quillin would be a good fight. Saul hasn't looked so great against movers with a decent jab, and add in Quillin's size and it makes for a great scrap.

But who, out of the current crop at 160 do you think Canelo beats?

I believe he beats everyone, including GGG.

            What is your opinion?

Does he beat, Cotto, Lee, Murray, Saunders, Quillin, Eubank, etc?
Did you really expect anyone on NSB to pick Canelo over GGG? GGG is the baddest man in boxing, he has cleared out Jr. MW - Super MW without even having to fight. Every DUCK is another victory for GGG, he should be like 100-0 97Ko's by now. Hes got that DeeBo effect going on, when fighters hear his name they stop training but when its quiet, they start training again...

Cotto fought a MW... so no, this makes no sense. Well except for the Canelo weight class.

              Let's just call it "gingerweight."

Not that I think it would have mattered but it wasn't at the full 160lb limit.

I think he has a good chance to beat any middleweight except GGG. Monroe and that Canadian middleweight who's name I can't spell are both dangerous but I think Canelo can beat them.

Many fighters set the weight limit of their non title fights a pound or two over the limit of the weight class they campaign in. What Canelo is doing fighting non title fights at 155 is not unusual at all and many other fighters do the exact same thing. If he had a fight for a 154 pound world title I think he could make weight.

This is how godly GGG has become. He has people making up their own weight class to avoid being in his. 155 again? lol. GGG = the big bad boogie man
