No they werent lol. Back then the best defensive fighter u had was a guy like Benitez and he aint even as good as Pernell who aint half as good as Floyd. SRL had a plus minus of 15, while Floyd at the peek of his career's was 30, which was top 3 in boxing history. He was 34 when it peeked, while SRL was washed up at 29. SRL looked at Pryor as a beast and Pryor is a bummy version of Packymonster. I think if Floyd and Pac fought in those eras, they would be shocked at the talent. I think they all would duck Floyd and Pac.

                    15 rounds fights
                    Same day weigh in
                    Fought more frequently

Not going to say they are better than the fighters today but it does deserve a lot of respect

Exactly. We could ask him why is he so "obsessed" with the fighters of today??? Special fighters come few and far in between, nomatter the era in which they fight. These so called boxing ******s today think that Roy Jones and Floyd Mayweather are boxing gods. They think that GGG would beat Leonard, Toney, Nunn, Hagler, Monzon. Smh. What they do not realize is that fighters of yesteryear fought with a different type fire and passion of fighters today. They were simply tougher, etc. Fighters today are true divas and there is a handful who are really great fighters.
