This would be a great comeback fight for Ward. Two dignified super stars, sounds perfect. At least sounds a lot better then Froch vs Chavez Jr or Hopkins.

Oakland is literally on the other side of the US, completely different cultures on the East/West coast, it's like stepping into a new country. Even the crowd wasn't pro Ward at all.
Ward deserves a rematch in Oakland after he nearly got robbed in NJ despite his schooling of Froch.

Froch fought everywhere in the Super 6, USA, Finland, Denmark etc. Ward never fought outside his home country - it's about time he did.
Aside from all that, the fight is PPV over here, draws a huge crowd over here and makes more money over here.
If Ward doesn't like it, he can turn the fight down and go back to sitting on his hands again.Last edited by Weebler I; 03-02-2015, 10:50 PM.

I would say it should be in Vegas. But if it happens in Oakland, I would get tickets for sure

Home country advantage means you have a crowd around you, we all know it has much more value in any country not named the USA. Both fighters actually traveled around the same distance to NJ from their home town.
Even the USA's biggest fighter, Mayweather, has trouble getting a pro Mayweather crowd, if that guy can't do it, Ward has no hope. The UK's rabid fan base can't be compared to the USA's, where only a few of us really give a shyt about Ward tbh.
Anything Ward does will be met with silence, anything Froch does, missed punches, will be met with applause and yelling, heavily influencing the judges. Ward doesn't have much power, he's not going to win in a flashy manner at all, this is what affects him more than any fighter out there.
If their 1st fight was in the UK, Ward would've lost it on the cards, guaranteed, he nearly lost in NJ, the UK he has no hope.

It's like this, if Ward doesn't want to fight Froch in the UK no one is forcing him to but he shouldn't expect Froch to fly out there again to fight him because that isn't happening, he has done it already.Last edited by Weebler I; 03-02-2015, 11:09 PM.
