Rigo is the top dog until someone takes his spot . McGuigan still makes comments that implies he doesn't want Frampton anywhere near Rigo so he has no business saying Frampton is the best. If you think your fighter is the best then prove it. As a Rigo fan Frampton does make me a little nervous. Fighting in Belfast Rigo isn't guarenteed any round on the cards in which he don't at least score a kd. I would love that fight.

I can't believe a win over the overrated Chris Avalos makes you the best 122lb in Boxing.
Avalos was Rigo's mando and he pussed out to go fight Frampton. Rigo used to whoop on Avalos so bad in sparring at the Wild card that Avalos stopped showing up until Rigo left the Wild card gym. Then years after this Avalos has been nothing but trash talking his way to a title shot.
If Frampton doesn't fight Rigo next or before the year is over then yes it is a duck.
The whole "he doesn't sell and has no fanbase" is the worst excuse ever. So he doesn't sell but fighters like Kiko Martinez and Avalos do????Comment

Style preference does make a specific fighter better than the others in a person's own views and opinion. Personally I believe Frampton is up to par with Rigondeaux in terms of skill and he has displayed his skill just as much as Rigo has been doing lately by fighting better opposition than the man himself(aside from the Donaire win a few years ago).Style preference doesn't make 1 fighter better than another....somebody is more skilled than the other, and that what makes "The Jackal" better.
Biasness is what keeps people(fanboys) from being "Truthful" about the simplest things. Honesty is what brings understanding, and the lack of honesty brings confusion.
Theres nothing wrong with preferring a fighter who isn't the BEST.
"Honesty is such a lonely word. Everyone is so untrue..." - Billy Joel, in his hit song Honesty
:ANYWORD:
The sport itself is subjective and the criteria to examine and label a fighter as talented varies from person to person. Personally I believe Frampton has the tools and power to beat Rigondeaux. Will he? Who knows, Frampton may very well lose and get his ass KO'd in the first but then again that's boxing. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and views even if those very same opinions and views makes the person a raging fanboy. The only time fanboyism is detrimental to the sport is when the fanbase and legion of fanboys bash others that don't agree with them.. And at this point Rigo fans have reached and superseded that point.Comment

That Asian fisherman is probably better than Avalos. Avalos was Rigo's mandatory for the WBO strap and Avalos refused to fight him, same thing with Santa Cruz, it's not Rigo's fault that his opponents don't want to fight him.I get it, Rigondeaux is fighting Asian fishermen and you have to watch on choppy ass streams that keep buffering every 2 seconds but that's not Frampton's fault. Rigondeaux didn't get the Santa Cruz fight so you're frustrated and have to lash out at other fighters.
Frampton has done everything that has been expected of him and more in just 20 fights. I have no reason to believe he won't keep on that same trajectory.
If he suddenly turns into a b1tch then by all means criticise him but don't just blindly **** on the guy because you're frustrated about Rigondeaux's flagging career.Comment

The point is that Frampton has done nothing wrong and neither have his management. In fact, they tried to get the fight with Santa Cruz too and were given the same response as Rigo was. If Frampton stops doing what he is supposed to and starts fighting janitors like Leo, then I'll be the first to criticise him. I don't **** on people before they've even done anything wrong. And Rigo has 15 whats the point? Oh and got where he is at by beating the man without talking about we don't want to fight people cause of "insert b*tch reason here"
Framptom himself hasn't come out the b*tch closet so far if he is even in it, but I can positively tell you the playbook his management plays in regards to Rigondeaux has been played before because I have seen it. The fact that you can't see it is simple denial.
Sometimes I think Rigondeaux fans take more pride in this idea that everyone is ducking him than his actual wins.

I don't think McGuigan said beating Avalos makes Frampton the best. He's basing his opinion on talent. Is his opinion biased? Well obviously. Is he entitled to it? Yes he is.

Frampton's promoter better be careful what he is wishing for. You can't just disrespect the top dog, Guillermo, and expect not to have to face him.Comment

I'm not whining b****, never did I state that people are not entitled to their opinions, I'm just saying you can't say Frampton is the best or is 100% certain going to beet Rigo on the Avalos win alone. Even Frampton's team said they were not ready for Rigo yet.Avalos was mandatory to both titles and he took the more lucrative option. Nothing wrong with what Avalos did.

Has Frampton beat the quality of fighter as Rigo has? Frampton is arguably the best in the UK but not sure if hes better than Kid Gallahad yet?
Theres no rush in claiming Frampton is the best in the division just yet. Fight and beat Rigo then you can call yourself the best. It don't matter that Rigo was poor in his last fight. Maybe he couldn't get up for it, as his opponent was no donaire so you have to take that into consideration. Just like Martin Murray didn't look too good in his recent fights after beating, I mean losing to Sergio Martinez in Argentina. Because they didn't put the fear in him.
And GGG is paying the price for that with some claiming he beat a below par Murray.Comment
