The point is that Frampton has done nothing wrong and neither have his management. In fact, they tried to get the fight with Santa Cruz too and were given the same response as Rigo was. If Frampton stops doing what he is supposed to and starts fighting janitors like Leo, then I'll be the first to criticise him. I don't **** on people before they've even done anything wrong.

Sometimes I think Rigondeaux fans take more pride in this idea that everyone is ducking him than his actual wins.





Avalos was mandatory to both titles and he took the more lucrative option. Nothing wrong with what Avalos did.

I don't think McGuigan said beating Avalos makes Frampton the best. He's basing his opinion on talent. Is his opinion biased? Well obviously. Is he entitled to it? Yes he is.

I'm a big fan of Rigo so I am well aware of his ability. I just think his diehard fans have become a bit b1tchy. One of them made a thread last week about Abner Mares "insulting" him when he actually complimented Rigo a lot in the video. It was ridiculous.

BS excuses? No it's just reality. Boxers fight for money. Rigondeaux fights for money too, he's not above it. The money fight in the division is against Quigg and it's clearly in his best interests to take that first.

After he beats Quigg, there's no one else left seeing as Santa Cruz will have run off to featherweight. Rigo-Frampton will have to happen.

I can't have an intelligent discussion with people who ignore facts. Rigondeaux doesn't bring any money to the fight. If and when they do fight, it will be Frampton bringing the money and the crowd. He will be throwing Rigondeaux a bone financially.

It's not Frampton or anyone else's fault that Rigondeaux isn't shown on TV and gets paid **** all. Of course Rigondeaux is willing to go here, there and everywhere because the guy doesn't have a locatable fanbase.

Frampton doesn't need to move up. He is actually not short of big fights. I didn't say he was a legend and I want him to face Rigondeaux - I think it's one of the best fights in boxing so you're barking up the wrong tree. I love when people get emotional in these discussions lol

I don't think Frampton deserves to be grouped alongside Santa Cruz. It was patently obvious that Santa Cruz was never going to fight Rigondeaux....or ANYONE (remember Frampton and Quigg both tried to fight him too).

Frampton hasn't done anything in his short career so far that would suggest he wouldn't sign the fight when the time comes. I agree though, he doesn't get credit just for talk but Rigo fans are very quick to talk down on him for some reason.
