I still can't believe folks think Jhonny only has a punchers chance, do you guys even know how technically sound Gonzalez is on the outside? Even in most of the fights he lost in he was holding his own and outboxing his opponents. He was up against Nishioka until he fell for the feint, he was boxing Vasquez's ear off, etc.. etc.. and yet people believe he only has his power to rely on against T-Rex over here
Russel may be a southpaw but he has absolutely no power. Look at how atrocious and featherfisted he looked in his most recent fight, Russel Jr seems to be moving backwards. He may be able to land a few flashy combinations here and there but all he'll be doing is buffing Jhonny's china, seriously. Wait until he feels real power.
Gonzalez will keep him at bay with his educated jab until Russel Jr. gets brave and tries to cut the distance and gets caught coming in. Russel Jr. gets put in his place once and for all
