Maybe Calderon has better skills, but Calderons quality of oppositon isnt as good as Cotto's. Cotto has more wins,more KO's,and against better opposition. Calderon is better skilled, but hasnt accomplished as much yet. Calderons biggest win was to Reyes, who had lost 2 of his last 3 going into the fight. Then he fought Bustos who was coming off a lose, and now he is scheduled to fight Miguel Tellez,a bum. Im not ragging on Calderon,hes one of my favorite fighters and i think he'll beat very tough fighters WHEN he fights them,but he hasnt fought as good of opposition as Cotto yet,he hasnt headlined shows like Cotto,and hasnt brought the excitment Cotto has. He'll prolly be around longer than Cotto, but at this moment in time Cotto is the #1 fighter in Puerto Rico.

b1tch I don't take it back. I've been around boxing since I was a young kid unlike some not all of you Cotto fans or even Tito fans for that matter. Alot of you Puerto Rican fans only talk about Cotto fail to know that Cotto got free ballots in his favor to be "voted" Puerto Rican fighter of the year! I'm proud to be Puerto Rican and root for the Puerto Rican fighters everytime even for Cotto and just because Hatton beat Kosta Tszyu to become champ a boxer light years more dangerous at that time then ANY Cotto has ever faced and I mention it does NOT mean I am a Hatton "nuthuuger" if anything I'm a fan of Mayweather not Hatton.
