Not too long ago Roach said Manny has to fight perfect to beat the same shot leg Floyd. Pacquiao fans attention..... Freddie Roach has no confidence in Manny winning.
I think this is the reason why Roach and Arum found a way out of the fight back in 2010, Roach backed then open his mouth on how Mayweather would duck them for March 2010 (Pac date), when their bluff was called they had to negotiate, if you remember correctly they initially agreed to the random testing, with Roach saying "They (Team Mayweather) wanted some type of Olympic style testing, *he then shrug his shoulders* and said we have nothing to hide" but after that they came back and claim they have a problem with the testing. But for me they didn't think Pac was ready and they were just trying to make it look like Mayweather wouldn't fight them after seeing what Pac did to Cotto, when their bluff was called by Team Mayweather they had to find a way out which they did with the drug testing.

Freddie isn't confident, even now, and never was. He knows what his fighter is in for.

It doesn't seem like his team even thinks he can pull it off. He was much better 5 years ago and didn't get KTFO.

The thing that bugs me is when people say "They should have fought each other in their prime".

Floyd hasn't really been prime since 2007 IMO. And Pac was last prime in 2009-2010 probably. So Floyd and Pac really never could have met prime for prime completely.

But obviously the fight would have been better back from2010-2012 or so. Floyd is definitely a different fighter from then, and so is Pac though. But both are still two of the best fighters in the world.

                It's a true 50-50 fight.

                  "Mayweather wins five years ago"

"When talking about the best fighters in the world you have to go with the undefeated guys"

"Mayweather is the toughest fight of our lives"

"I think my guy can beat him (Mayweather) but it won't be easy"

                  All said by Roach
Of course! Who ever said Floyd will be the easiest fight for manny is obviously trolling. Good to see roach keeping a level head about this. unlike the other camp making comments like how pac will get knocked out, how sr could whoop on algieir with one hand. I hope they are really overlooking pac for this one. Makes the after party so much better that way.

Boxing fans rejoiced last week when Mayweather-Pacquiao was finalized for May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Times have changed for Roach. He believes Mayweather is a fighter with "shot legs" and won't be able to escape Pacquiao's incoming punches for twelve rounds.

As the fighter prepare for training camp, Roach is predicting that Pacquiao will knock Mayweather out "very late in the fight."

Can't agree more. Old floyd will forget his name after fight.
