This was a nice stay busy fight. hammer had really improved the last few years. He was in good shape & had nothing to lose. I didn't know he was that big. He was 248lbs & looked solid. Fury is so talented. He makes everything look easy. Peter Fury has done an outstanding job with both Tyson & Hughie. Tyson can box in both stances with equal effectiveness. He moves in & out, pops the jab, throws combos, goes to the body (which is rare for guy his size), can fight inside or out, ties up effectively & has a solid defence. Hammer was a stay busy fight & Fury showed the difference in class. Hammer is a solid veteran gatekeeper & he is only 25 or 26 I think. Fury followed Peter's instructions almost perfectly which shows his discipline & his trust in his corner. I still want to see what Peter Fury has done for Eddie Chambers...

If he tightens up his defense, works behind the jab, and dominates every second of every round, he's a dull fighter.
Like Wlad (gasp), he's evolving a style that minimizes his weaknesses and maximizes his strengths. And while that might not always make for riveting back-and-forth action in the ring, it does help to ensure that he'll be able to put complete sentences together when he's in his 60s and 70s.Comment

If he lets himself get knocked over by overhand rights, he's a glass-chinned sissy.
