Better than how the American promoter are with MGarcia AWard sitting on the shelf for a year. And for Solis, with all that talent and putting no effort into training, I do not blame his promoter 1 single bit.

And if Solis wants to protect himself from young prospects, he can use that Cuban pedigree everyone always claims for him. Best case scenario he KOs them all, then what?

How many ex communist athletes have had this problem. I recall a few Russian hockey players having this problem and Jorge Luis Gonzalez having this problem too. It's not just food but in the west nothing is regulated and when guys come from the spartan police state environment of Cuba they can go crazy off of mundane things for Westerners.

I understand Solis is a wasted talent, I sure as hell don't have any sympathy for Oner he knew what kind of guy Solis is over the years. Solis is garbage but Oner has always been nothing but a hotheaded a$$. Oner was non-stop arrogant when Solis fought Vitali.

Solis is on the record as saying he hates boxing and doesn't follow the sport. It was just a way to get out of Cuba.

Well, coming into a make or break fight at 272 (and only 6'1" tall) proves he was telling the truth about his hate of boxing and training.

Any talent he had is gone, wasted, squandered by overeating, drinking, and laziness.

All he is now is a bum.

He should retire before he ends up seriously hurt against somebody who does actually care about boxing and winning.

Oner isn't a nice guy but he was right on the money about Solis. The truth ain't pretty here.
