Glad to see the man taking his career serious again. His camp has clearly included a strict fitness and stamina regime, he looks to be in superb shape right now. If he beats Perez I think we will see Wilder duck him and unify versus Klitschko. The Povetkin vs Wilder fight should be ordered immediately if Perez loses as expected. The new champ as meant to have two back to back defences, Povetkin or Perez winner being the second.

Be interesting to see if Haymon orders Wilder to drop his belt if Ryabinsky or ROC won the potential purse.

Its a shame. Perez was a real heavyweight prospect imo. He hasn't been the same since the unfortunate night against Abduslamov. Its really the sad side of the sport. I wish Mike all the luck in the world.

Dude is lazy, ain't no more too it. If he showed half the application Povetkin has since his own revival he'd breeze through half of these contenders and destroy everybody on the fringes. Shame to see such talent go to waste a la Solis.

Povetkin's going to beat Perez. Then he can rematch Wladamir. Without Luis Pabon as a Ref he beats Wlad.

Povetkin will not beat beat Wlad with any ref, but heŽd probably beat Wilder. Haymon knows this so it will never happen. They should just change the WBC world title to WBC American Haymon-approved-HWs-title.

I think it has more to do with fighting better competition. Takam was much bigger & could walk through his punches & Jennings outboxed him. Nothing wrong with him. He just started to fight contenders...

Brainless Povetkin wouldn't beat Wlad even if his own mother was the referee in this fight. He will be dominated from pillar to post again in the rematch, but this time Wlad will knock his overrated ass out.

I agree Povetkin will never get the better of Wlad. But I disagree that Povetkin definitely beats Wilder. It would be one hell of a fight that I'd like to see.

As a champion Wilder deserves a 1st sot at Kitschko more than Povetkin deserves a 2nd shot.

Perez has the ability to beat Povetkin. But he needs to be ready for his most difficult opponent in his career
