  • Comments Thread For: Thompson-Solis Early Results: Aziz Karaoglu Wins

Cruiserweight Aziz Karaoglu (3-0, 2 KOs) is on a fast track to the world ranks. Having debuted less than a month ago, the Turkish fighter has already defended his minor WBC title for the first time. Fighting in a sea resort city of Antalya, Karaoglu managed to outpoint recently crowned Italian national champion Maurizio Lovaglio (18-11, 11 KOs) over ten rounds.

Karaoglu defended his WBC Mediterranean 200lb title, which he won less than two weeks ago, for the first time and improves his record to 3-0, with 2 KOs.

You see the scale weights the fat bastard got his dues. Thompson keeps on being overlooked by these greedy promoters, Fury ducked the guy for good reason.

Solis. Such a disappointment considering the potential and expectations.

Solis came in weighing 272! 18 pds short of 300! And he is only like 6'2 - poor Ohner, he evidently has $ tied into him

Wilder(c) vs Thompson (whenever Wilder's hand is ready) would seem like a logical fight for Wilder's first title defense, before taking on the Perez/Takam winner and then, if the terms come out okay, facing Klitschko.
