I really don't see a KO/TKO for Pacquiao. That's out of the question. When you have much more defensively inferior fighters like Cotto, Bradley, Marquez (let's be honest, Marquez DOES get hit a lot), and they don't get KO'd, I really can't see that KO/TKO win for Manny. We have to go all the way back to 2009 to see a Pacquiao KO/TKO and that Cotto stoppage could've very easily been a wide UD for Pacquiao, Bayless just decided to step in during the twelfth. I'm not disagreeing with him, but just pointing that out. Numerous people have cited it's not the power, it's the speed that overwhelms them.

Mayweather should definitely be the favorite, but Pacquiao stopping him should be similar to the De la Hoya fight with a slight twist: least likely scenario. De la Hoya was favored to win that fight big either by KO or a wide UD. This fight is a UD for either guy.

I'm willing to bet big there is not a stoppage in this fight.

Yup. I expect him to win. And Im saying I dont see beating Manny as his "career defining win"...at this point in time, MAYWEATHER beating Manny isnt as impressive as it would have been several years ago...it could be Marquez or anyone, Im saying for myself that beating a guy who lost a decision and was knocked out badly in recent years isnt as impressive as some of his other wins. If you think it is, that's very cool, Its fine, Its your opinion and I cant argue an opinion really. No that is NOT what he is saying. If a guy lands 15 jabs and the other guy lands 3 but doesn't get a knockdown then yes the guy who lands more punches wins.

You're missing the point, there is more to hitting and not getting hit. Effectiveness of what does land has more carry than just landing. In that scenario you have very different rounds if the 3 punches cause a KD, KO, no affect, causes the other guy to run for most of the round. There's more to judging a round than just punches landed/avoided.

you can make a strong case marquez IS better than pac. first three fights controversial and toss ups, fourth fight pac gets his skull smashed.

hit and not get hit is the ultimate goal for any boxer. if its not, hes in the wrong sport. the least punishment you take the more your brain will carry you in life. . floyd is the best boxer because he mastered the science hit and not get hit, hes not perfect but hes the closest you gonna get to perfection.

Exactly....if it was all about hits landing we wouldn't need judges....just look at the compubox. Castillo would have been the winner in his first fight.vs. Floyd.
