He let Floyd continuously clinch and never took a point of him. As soon as Maidana got in punching range, Floyd would tactically clinch him and Bayless reset the action putting Maidana out of range.

Bayless would also split early when Maidana has a hand free and able to work.

Did you even read the article,because it seems like you didn't. Marquez actually respects pacquaio,and while he slightly favors mayweather,he honestly sees Pacquiao posing a credible threat. What he doesn't want,is for Pacquiao to be winning a close decision,and the judges rob him,by giving it to mayweather.

Manny Pacquiao has been on both sides of the "questionable decisions" debacle in the sport of boxing. He has been the benefactor vs. Marquez, and the victim vs. Bradley. I think he knows that, at a minimum, he must outwork Floyd, and a KO would be preferable. However, Manny has the skill set to actually outwork Floyd, but so have many others. Manny is a "Fighter", and Floyd is the "Master Boxer." Manny needs to make it a fight, and Floyd needs to make it a boxing match. The one who imposes his will, will be the victor.
