Gonzalez has been my favorite boxer for the last several years, but I'm starting to get pissed about his reluctance to want to get Estrada in the ring for a rematch/unification fight. This guy has all the tools to be one of the next P4P champions, but he doesn't always take the big fights. I understand the value of a tune up and the fact that most fighters don't want to face him. Hopefully, HBO being under pressure to produce with so many new outlets for boxing happening this year, signs him to a deal and starts throwing money at the big names in the lower weights to jump in the ring with him. The only positive about this possible May title defense is that we'll more than likely get to see him in with a Thai fighter finally. You can't be the best in the world until you beat all of the styles in the world.

Nawaphon Por Chokchai has a stiff test to pass against Sosa before jumpin in the ring with Roman, but I honestly think the younger, stronger and much bigger body puncher will take the veteran out.

I'm quite confident we'll be getting Nawaphon vs Roman next, and although Chokchai is relatively untested, I'm interested in seeing how Roman deals with a dedicated body puncher.

I'm still hoping for an Estrada rematch. I got a few pending bets waiting in the wing...

Plus, 3 pounds is alot down there.. especially since Roman is tiny compared to many of the SF running around. If he already felt sluggish since his 108 jump to 112, imagine how he'll feel at 115. Anyway, for now he'll look golden.. I mean, he's fighting one of my over the hill, alcoholic uncles or some shit in his next fight
        Haha well played

He has said repeatedly that he would fight Estrada whenever and where ever. His promotional company kind of sucks that I will say. That fight has to happen. Hopefully, by the end of this year.

Both guys would want to get a good payday for that rematch to happen, and rightfully so. Hopefully Gonzalez making an appearance on HBO will persuade the suits to fork over good paydays for that rematch.

I'll keep it all the way real, I've only seen one Gonzalez fight. Hopefully this weekend youtube will allow me to come to a familiarity with the man named Chocolatito.

Maybe, but they might also have Lemeuix/N'Dam on a split site and might just be 2 fights

Absolutely. Like you said hopefully this takes us down the road for the rematch. This can be an undercard match on a big PPV. Would be freaking awesome.

Your missing out my man. Dude is a wrecking ball in the ring. Like a machine.

About damn time, this is a good sign that the people behind the scenes know a little something about the sport as a whole if the ratings are good they would likely look to feature him in the Estrada rematch for a nice purse.
