Cotto can definitely appear to be difficult, but from a business perspective this is the right move. That belt is his Mayweather bait, that's damn good money for Miguel in a marginally competitive fight. Size wise GGG is too big for Cotto, but I think he will fight him when it becomes more lucrative. GGG is a beast but he is not at a PPV level yet. Like it or not Cotto is the third largest star in the sport, and he knows it.

Whoever thinks the WBC will strip Cotto anytime soon is seriously DELUDING themselves. The WBC will *never* strip Cotto as long as the possibility exists that Mayweather will fight for his title.
