Either way GGG will never get a shot to be lineal champion as long as Peter Quillin babysits the #2 spot in the MW rankings. He better hope Andy Lee wins so he can have a chance to create a new lineage after Cotto vacates.
Hopefully Lee's right hook is still hot and knocks out Quillin in fashion.

Imo he's most likely gonna fight k9 and if he wins that fight he'll "officially" vacate the belt and go back down weight where he is supposed to. Also, WBC is a joke just look at the DSG bs

I hope he doesn't go the GGG route that would be nothing short of an execution and would finish his career.

One part of me actually wants to see Cotto vs Rios at 154 or higher just so I can see what kind of shape Brandon will be in - literally. I think a 154 Brandon would be oval shaped.

That came off sounding a little stressed out. He wants the benefits of being the MW champ without the risks.

GTFO with that defending the title against Bradley, Rios, or Bundrage BS. He can stop pretending to follow in the footsteps of Tito.

"No organization owns my career. So I will do my part and what I want to do," said Cotto in response to reporters who questioned him on the growing pressure from the WBC to face Golovkin.....

So in other words, "No organization owns my career. So I will bock-bock-bgaaawk! Quack, quack, quack!"....

Damn Cotto....NOT the response a lot of your die hards wanted to hear....

If they do that "Improved" policy across the board then 100% supported. This is an organisation that doesn't do that. Why don't they do the same thing with their other champions? I want to see undisputed champions too so do this across the board. But to try and force Cotto to fight GGG when they have stripped champions for doing the same thing suggest money is changing Sulaiman hands from GGG backers.

in other words cotto is saying, when you are the champ you do whatever you want and that may be not fight if he choses to....(which is not ok IMO)
