That said, I would welcome a fight between GGG and Cotto but not for the same reason some people here want this fight. Lets face it, some people are calling for this fight not so much because they truly give a damn about GGG winning "belt," or think it is a great fight...No, they are praying for a one sided beatdown of Cotto. This is what haters prove when they are mum about their own countrymen, facing GGG. Again, Cotto is a tiny "middleweight..." No real business at that weight. It is what it is.
I hear you. It's ******, they want GGG to hurt him. Call me crazy but I have faith in Cotto. I think he could give GGG hell. I've made threads in the past nabbing Cotto to pull off the upset. I've even said Cotto would beat his ass. Maybe wishful thinking but I'm also the guy that said Cotto would beat any version of Martinez, as well.

In Cotto's defense, the Margarito fights were not one sided beat downs. Cotto was winning fight 1, and won fight two.

Oh I agree. No one beats him at 160. He has great power and lots of skills, but one thing I have noticed is a horrendous mean streak. He's getting you out of there one way or another.

Golovkin demonstrated how you beat the respect out of somebody.

He has reached his end at 160lbs, Cotto's belt is just a trinket.
