If Manny fights like he did in the algieri fight he should win fairly easily. If you watch that fight, Manny didn't get in close enough for algieri to connect with his good jab. Manny would feint from a distance, when algiero would take the bait Manny would use his superior footwork to get in punching range, and start throwing combos while algieri was on his back foot. Floyd can fight from his back foot, but rest assured Manny can fight better coming in than Floyd can on his back foot. That will be the question for the fight. Will Floyd be able to throw enough and land enough punches to overcome mannies furious combinations and volume punching. Floyd keeps his defence extra tight againt guys with power. Manny has power, speed, and throws in volume. I suspect Floyd is going to clam up in his Philly shell and not come out for long periods of time. Does Floyd even have enough punching power or strong enough pain tolerance for his brittle hands to be able to keep the little phillipino off him for 36 minutes? I doubt it. After the maidana fight mayweather said he was trying to knock maidana out, but his hands were too damaged. He would have to take alot of extra xylocaine to be able to deal with his hands breaking while trying to show Manny his power. Also Floyd doesn't hit as hard at welterweight as he does at junior middle. Remember the cotto fight he was pounding cotto with some really hard clean shots to the jaw. His punching power looked about as bad as Mauricio herreras or Pauli malignaggi against maidana

Bradley's mistake was he thought he could knock Manny out after Marquez did. He was having success and somehow abandoned whatever he was doing. Also, Manny adjusted and cut the ring off a little bit that's why he was able to land those solid shots that hurt Bradley.

May doesn't really sit on his punches, he uses them to stung his opponents to get them off of him. Only time I saw him sat on his punches were his 1-2 on Ortiz's jaw.

A lot of people thinks it's the easiest win for Floyd, that might be true. But is there something we don't know that Floyd do? I mean, why wait so long to fight him if it's this easy like some of you guys said it would?

In My Opinion, you must be fast, of foot and hand, Power in both hands , head movement and supreme confidence to put supreme pressure on Jr and land that straight left straight up the pike, its open the left of Pac is made for the shoulder Roll of JR, clear shot.

Pac's right hook is made for JR's head as he LIFTS IT ,,,PERFECT !

Pac must come in intense and the intensity MUST INCREASE NOT DECREASE !!

Pac makes sure his opponents are defeated before he allows compassion to set in. Pac will win the first 6, if he lets up like Hopkins believes the fight will be sick.

So bro PACMAN,,,,,,,its on you, its allright to have compassion AFTER,,,not DURING the fight. Go do yer business in the ring and take care of JR

        KO Jr by 4

        Win by UD

Make JR QUIT would be best, but Pac you can't let up like you did with Margo, you need to put whup knots all over Jr's head, close his eyes, and compassion will come when he quits, just like in the ODH fight you made ODH QUIT, do it to JR.

I have eaten humble pie before and will yet eat it again due to my nature, a good dose of humble pie will be good for JR and his fans.

To all the FANs that take a stand on who wins this fight I SALUTE !!!!!!
Holy **** I cringed reading that part lol... You're really trying to esp your way into PAC's mind right now.

It'll be interesting to see how he deals with a much more awkward and faster puncher like Pacquiao.
That idea comes to my mind as well. Father time will come on whoever it is during the fight. Roy's relies heavily on his reflexes and when it started to disappear he became a KO victim.

Freddie's observation on Floyds legs are a bit overstatement, Floyd can still move and avoid those punches. The question is, for how long he can continue moving without getting tired? For me? That is one of Manny's opportunity to land his power shots, when Floyd takes a breather against the ropes like Freddie stated.

              Period.

His starpower will do the rest.

Floyd usually throws the left jab to the stomach against orthodox boxers, and the straight right hand to the stomach against southpaws. Floyd can slowly walk him down behind the lead hand. He just needs to paw it while cutting the ring off and Manny will either pivot out to another angle and both of them will reset or Manny will back up in a straight line with his high guard up, and Floyd can easily keep the lead hand on the front of his Manny's face and throw the straight right downstairs.

Most Pacquiao fans get mad when they see someone say Floyd can walk Manny down. They automatically think he'll just walk up to Manny with his face open and both of his hands down begging to get KTFO. This isn't how he walks his opponent down.

He sometimes does it in the high guard stance which i am not a fan of because he's cutting the ring off in a wide stance and can't really effectively cut off the distance, but he also uses the lead hand to drives his opponent backward while the lead hand is also utilize to keep his opponent occupy enough to set up his offense.

I agree with you Sweeney, if he uses that jab to the body, he is open to Manny's right hook over the top like you just said. On top of that, that means he is bending forward and once Manny counters him with a right hook, here comes Manny's straight left which will land since Floyd already bending forward.
