nacho makes a good point about Pac being smart.

It does takes intelligence and IQ to time the combinations, to position his body, and move his feet...and to know when to throw.

People don't understand..that Pac effectively reads his opponent and anticipates their moves.

You're being awfully defensive over this fight. I don't understand why all of you floyd fans are being so disrespectful to manny. It's the fight we've all been waiting for. If you saw him fight zab fuvkin Judah then you know this isn't an easy fight.

People keep thinking Floyd's Timothy Bradley, but better, but you guys don't realize Floyd doesn't make you work your ass off like Bradley's and he doesn't throw nearly as much. Manny is going to look good in this fight, just like the Algieri fight, because of Floyd's inactivity, him not attacking you with a bull dog style, and Manny's sudden movmenet based style out of the south paw stance.

I'm rewatching a ton of old Floyd fights, and the common trait that his opponents have is they bring absolutely none or Manny's head movmenet. He's yet to fight that non stop, constant, bobbing and weaving style.

First off, when has PAC fought a fighter like Floyd? Now I'm a true fan so I study, not watch but study both fighters. Floyd can be touched, but you only get a chance or 2. Now PAC is open to the right hand a lot, and doesn't do good against defensive fighters. I've seen a lot of fighters make him miss but couldn't make him pay. That's the one guarantee That you get from Floyd which is he will make you pay. Then this is the first time in a long time he's been the bigger fighter. I got Floyd winning.

Pacquiao doesn't move his head constantly, he only moves it in spots. Rewatch Pac Marquez 4 and Roach was literally yelling at him, telling him he wasn't moving his head enough. Even while trying to bob and weave, Marquez still caught Manny with huge shots in that fight before KO'ing him.

Also, Floyd's right hand comes at you quicker and its more unpredictable than Marquez's right hand.

I watched the Zab fight the other day and you really can't take anything away from that fight. Floyd was younger which he was more offensive back then. Zab was also real defensive that fight which Floyd was pushing the fight the whole night because it was their game plan. So you really can't compare the 2

So you got Floyd winning because he will make him pay for missing a chance or 2? How many chances are two do you think Pac will have? Unless he really puts the breaks on it.....ABSOLUTELY ******! and he will lose if he does not bring it. He will bring many chances and if floyd fails to have Pac respect his "power". It is going to be a very long fight for floyd.

Pac has faced bigger fighters and not a single problem. I don't think that will be a factor. I think Floyd's reach will be a bigger factor. Pac will have to move quick to get in and find him from many angles. I can't wait to watch that straight left come down the pipe when he tries that counter right on the wrong time.

He hasn't faced Manny 40+ rounds like JMM. Floyd knows he will have to be careful and when you try to be careful he might miss that timing/opportunity.

I don't think people realize how hard this fight is going be for Floyd to win with what he is accustomed to in the ring. He is going to have to hurt Pacquiao to dictate the fight in any way. I have a feeling this fight will look like Cotto vs Pacquiao. It'll be close in the beginning but Pac's speed, power, and punch volume will simply overwhelm the aging Mayweather. Floyd needs to sit down on his punches and push the offensive IMO to suppress and disarm Pac's power.

Pacquiao fans like to bring up that Marquez had 4 fights, but it didn't take him that long to adapt and start timing Pacquiao. It took him one round.

I will say this the only way Floyd loses if he doesnt follow my gameplan, if he fights the wrong plan he will lose, but if he follows my plan of hitting with the right hand and moving and holding and fighting Pac dirty inside he will win easy and by KO.

I remember saying Rios would take Pacc out with a jab, but never realized it until now, you can't use a jab on Manny. Who has? when Cotto landed the jab early Manny took that **** away and Cotto stopped using it because Pac kept counter it like in this video below, he has this uncanny ability to read your jab when he is in the middle and you try to fight him mid range.

Its the right hand he has trouble avoiding or reading, but the jab is something he is good at timing and countering. Floyd will have to set up his right hand off a fake jab feint, Pac is a sucker for that. but if he is going to try and just throw single jabs, its not a good look Pac has a stretch armstrong lead left he can reach you on the nose when you do that.
