Former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. will be returning to the StubHub Center in Carson, California on April 18th, when he faces dangerous light heavyweight contender Andrzej Fonfara (26-3, 15KOs) at a catch-weight of 172-pounds. The fight will be televised on Showtime.

For Chavez (48-1-1, 32KOs) it will be his second appearance at the venue since he defeated Brian Vera in September of 2013. Fonfara has primarily fought in Chicago and this will be his first bout on the West Coast of the United States.
