TYSON FURY’S dad has promised to get his son on the straight and narrow after his own stint behind bars.

“Gyspy” John Fury served four years of an 11-year sentence for gouging a man’s eye out in a brawl in 2010.

But he reckons he can be a calming influence on his son now he is out.

He was released earlier this month and is now expected to be ringside for his son’s clash with Christian Hammer in London on Saturday.

Seriously, I don't mind Tyson swearing and playing the fool outside the ring, that's not going to lose him fights.

But if his dad can help Uncle Pete keep Tyson serious and focussed inside the ring, that would be good.
