If this fight happens I think that if cotto wins he drops the 160 lbs belt and keeps the ibf 154 lbs title.

The two belt angle is a possibility but at this stage of his career he should be maxing out $ look at trout risk. Will he make that much more against Canelo or Mayweather with k9's belt. No risks at the endgame big $ canelo or FloydComment

Cotto is being real smart about his moves. He currently has a VOLUNTARY defense for the 160 lb strap on hold. If he puts it on the line now, he then must do mandatory next (GGG). Fighting Bundrage for the 154 lb strap, he still has till the end of the year to do his voluntary defense (160). I strongly believe (IMO), that the candidate will be Mayweather. Mayweather will be looking to go 49-0, plus be the second man in history to hold 3 titles simultaneously.
One key point I haven't mentioned, is that. Suliman is Cotto's homeboy. Also if it involves Mayweather and that type of history (referring to end of year match), Suliman will bend.
***Cotto ****s on Bundrage and (not to change topic), Mayweather eats Pacquiao.Comment

Bundrage, who appeared in the second season of the Contender, told BoxingScene.com that he is very interested in adding Cotto's belt to his collection and sent us the following message:

"Work?" Bundrage is a sparring partner and nothing more. Cotto would get a paycheck to spar Bundrage on TV.Comment

K9? Garbage fight. Rios? Garbage fight. Bradley? Garbage fight @ 160, okay fight @ 154 I guess. Miguel needs to make the GGG fight for June and pass the torch already. Or move back down to 154. In hindsight, looks like he d*cked up the best opportunity he had with Canelo by demanding the lions share of the purse.Comment
