Comments Thread For: Pacquiao To Pause Basketball, Focused on Mayweather

Manny Pacquiao's teammates are calling BS on reports that he'll continue playing pro basketball while training for the big fight ... telling TMZ Sports the Pac-Man is definitely putting his other career on hold for the time being.

We spoke to Manny's teammates on Kia Carnival -- a professional hoops team in the Philippine Basketball Association -- and they tell us despite reports to the contrary Pacquiao is 100% shutting it down.

Excellent. Hopefully both men come in rare form and at their peak in order to give the fans a great fight between two grandpas. War Senior Citizens!

Now he is making sense. Here is to hoping the politics do not take up any vital time away from his preperation.

His team will be pleased not having the handicap.

There was a brutal massacre a few weeks back in Mindanao... meanwhile Pacquiao was busy in his room somewhere in Florida discussing the fight with Floyd. Seriously, don't worry about his political career A war could break out in the middle of his camp and he will still show up prepared for war on May 2nd.

Nah, watched the game earlier tonight. He just cheered at the sidelines. That's the last game of his team before he heads to the US. His team won by the way.
