It was supposed to be at light heavyweight and it is. This isnt really new news, they reported this awhile back. That being said I agree with posts before me admonishing Chavez Jr. For being a cawk smoker and a bish who ducked ggg to go run to al haymon in protective custody. I hope he loses to fonfara and basically ruins his chances at fighting on ppv for years to come. A loss to fonfara and his drawing power would be severely diminished. I have a feeling fonfara may be taking a big payday from uncle al to take a fall.

Fights like these are always the ones I worry about in regards to the outcome being predetermined. It will be interesting to see how much Fonfara is getting paid for this fight. If its a lot, like over a million, I wouldn't advise anyone to bet on Fonfara winning.

I knew the same thing would happen with Sam Soliman losing to Jermaine Taylor...after getting a mil from Al.

I hope no one's sleeping on Fonfara. This guy is no pushover and could easily pull an upset on Chavez Jr. Fonfara is a dedicated professional fighter who's been fighting at a constant weight; Chavez is a part time fighter with on-and-off motivation and who fights at different weight classes. The more I analyze this, the more I favor Fonfara

Chavez Jr has always made weight, so why the hate. Sure he has changed the contracted weight but he made weight. I am no fan of Chavez Jr, there is only one JC Chavez.
