He doesn't. This fight doesn't intrigue me in the least. I would rather see Golovkin-Lemieux before this fight.

agreed. Lara doesn't have the power necessary to keep GGG off of him. If Angulo was able to get Lara on the ropes and drop him, GGG gonna knock him out

If Lara can run around the ring faster than he did with Canelo, this would be the fight to do it. I can't say it's something I'd really want to watch, though, I probably still would.

You're not going to beat Golovkin fighting on the back foot for 12 rounds. Lara would get beaten up and stopped. It also doesn't help that he's smaller than GGG too.

To beat GGG, you're going to have to be able to move well but also be able to push him back at times. If you can get GGG moving backwards and land punches in combination you'll find yourself in an advantageous situation. If you're on the back foot and he's in pursuit, cutting off the ring, he will be in his comfort zone and systematically break you down. This is easier said than done though.

Sure why not. Golovkin will just get criticized for "making a 154 pounder move up in weight" after he knocks him out, but whatever.
