Anybody think "MegaFights" should be 15 rounds

Maybe 13 rounds would be better for all fights, would get less draws then.

Not to bring gloves into the mix.

But have you ever seen those gloves from back in the day? Those things were practically rubber and 1-2 rags.

I also think mega fights should have naked ring card girls, and that is more likely than 15 rounders. 15 round fights will NEVER be back regardless of how we feel.

yeah, make these guys and their brains endure the compounded punishment for those extra 3 rounds just to make sure that they are indeed 'legit' and that the fans get their moneys worth. while you're at it we should go back to 4 ounce gloves also and restrict any doctors from attending the carnage ringside. And if they get cut, the other corner should be allowed to go over to pour salt in the wounds. Using battering clubs will be left optional..... don't forget that these are human beings just like yourself.

Agree 100%. The Thrilla n Manila was 15. So was the St. Valentine's Day massacre. Duran-Leonard I. Arguello-Pryor. These fights stand in the memory more so than many 12-round mega-fights do today. Plus, imagine Chavez-Taylor in a 15-round scenario. Would have been stopped well before 15. Taylor could barely stand at the end of the 12th.

Boxing is a dangerous sport with the current 36 minutes. How much they prayed for Magomed after he endured that punishment for 10 rounds and is basically a shadow of his former self now. You think they are sincere in their sadness of what happened when the incident occurs, they quickly forget and look at what they are asking for now. Boxing fans are no good, I keep repeating it, and they keep proving me right. Boxing has the worst fans of any sport.

I want to see what Magomed's family, Ali's family, families of fighters who died in the ring, I want to see what they have to say about this nonsense.

It's not so much that they are bad fans, it's more a fact that they are clueless to the dangers in a fight and want to come off as if they really know.... when they haven't the slightest clue = ignorance..........
