I don't really respect Pac as much as I once did. To me, it's about dedication. Floyd is truly dedicated and Pac isn't: And we WILL see the difference on 5/2.

Of COURSE Manny is talking about retirement. He KNOWS he won't beat Floyd, and therefore he knows there won't be a rematch.

I agree, boxing is Floyd's life, that is why he lacks the social skills to hold down a relationship or even friends.

Pacquiao has a lot of extra activities apart from boxing, He is a husband, father, politician, film star, the face of so many products, an icon, and pro basketball player.

He has way too much on his plate and is really a part time boxer he has been for a number of years.

If Pacquiao was dedicated life Floyd he would have been greater, but his life outside of boxing would not have been as full and his impact on the world would not have been as great.

Floyd tried to make the fight in 2009 and Manny walked away to fight Clottey. So soon we forget.

How soon we forget? The ones being sued by Manny were on Manny's side the year before. Hmmmm. Floyd and company went one step further by not just requesting but actually accusing Manny of taking PEDs.

More recently in 2008, according to ESPN.com, Zab Judah requested Sugar Shane Mosley to agree to blood testing before their non-title welterweight fight which had been scheduled for May 31 of that year in Las Vegas. However, the fight never happened because Golden Boy CEO, Richard Schaeffer, refused the Olympic-style drug testing requested by the Judah camp, stating, "Whatever tests they [the Nevada State Athletic Commission] want them to take, Shane will submit to that. [But] We are not going to do other tests than the Nevada commission requires. The fact is, Shane is not a cheater and he does not need to be treated like one."

I agree -- from the perspective of someone who doesn't actually KNOW these guys -- that Manny seems like a decent human being with perspective. I mean, I think so.

And Floyd is a case of stilted development emotionally. Floyd seems like a first class jerk.

But I don't really know these guys. For all I know, Pac is boning down on his best friend's 15 year old daughter as we speak.

I DO know that Floyd is going to roll Pac up and smoke him in the ring because he is focused on the fine art of pugilism. Manny wastes his energy on everything else.

Manny aint retiring.......well maybe he is, I mean US put a 18mil lien on his stuff, the Philipines were tryna make that fool pay 75 mil for taxes from 06 to 2010, so maybe he uses this fight as a cash out, but if not hes still gna fight. Aint makin no Senate seat owing mils in taxes.....hopefully he can hold onto all his fancy stuff before they take it away
