Then that just shows that size doesn't matter because as I just said, Pacquiao has beaten bigger guys before. Besides, all that talk about "they're not Floyd", well, Floyd's other opponents are not Pacquiao.Comment

Manny could cause Floyd problems. He's a totally new kind of opponent.
A smaller guy can always beat a bigger guy if he's really got skills. But in this case the bigger guy has MORE skills.
It's a long shot for Pac. He's going to have to find his inner Cotto killer.
But he left THAT guy behind in November 2009. It's 5 years later.Comment

I'm not going with the "more skills" part. In the end, they're just two of the best of the welterweight division and they're both highly skilled.Manny could cause Floyd problems. He's a totally new kind of opponent.

I just don't think Floyd would use his size as an advantage against a fast, hard hitting opponent like Pacquiao.Comment

Mayweather is just not a big guy but is a big skilled boxer/fighter. Manny is a smaller skilled fighter but not as skilled as Mayweather. I'm leaning towards the bigger guy with more skills.Comment

Floyd is bigger, but Manny hits harder and doesn't stay still long enough for guys to clinch and fight him on the inside. So the only advantage for Floyd with his size is going to be his reach.Comment

Yeah and he didn't use his size/reach advantage over Marquez, either. That wouldn't have been nice.Comment

That's exactly what I'm saying. Other opponents had size advantages over Manny but they still lost. Plus, you also got:
Margarito: height - 5'-11, reach - 73"Comment
