Why does Ward-stans want GGG to move up?

Ward has got the experience of cleaning out his division.
Golovkin has not, he wants to clean out the division.

Ward, hasn't fought in over a year.
Golovkin, plans to fight 3-4 times a year. We got one down, three to go.

If K2 can secure Golovkin a fight with Cotto next that would be great, maybe in April or May? Then they can pursue getting the WBO and IBF belts.

I don't see a reason why these champions shouldn't fight Golovkin. They would probably be earning around $500,000 (aside from Cotto of course) and if they want they can just take the early KO by giving up.

Why is Ward always a full time commentator when it comes to Ward vs Golovkin, but a full time fighter all of a sudden when it comes to Ward vs Kovalev?

Because it's an intriguing match up that is unlikely to ever happen after Ward moves up. Not really sure why most Ward fans appear to be petrified of a CW though, their guy has every advantage imaginable except for power.

A catchweight would prove one thing - Golovkin is petrified. It also proves his fans are bricking it.

This is the same guy who signed to fight Chavez Jr at 168lbs. His manager has said they would fight Carl Froch at 168lbs.

But the Ward fight needs a catchweight? Wow...total PR disaster for the supposed most feared man in boxing.

Ward fans DO have a double standard, I agree. HE should move the F up.

But the real culprit isn't Ward -- it's GGG's trainer, who has mouthed off at least twice saying GGG could beat everyone at 160 and 168.

So I blame Sanchez the loudmouth. Keep your mouth shut until GGG is ready to move up.

But then again Ward himself said that he would fight at HW. That was like 3 years ago, and he is still at 168.

Both should eventually move up. I want to see Ward-Golovkin first at 168 before Ward moves up though.

The question should be...why are Golovkin "stans" so scared of that fight?

probably because ward is a cheater who clinches constantly and they know that is what is going to happen? an even better question is why do people want to see ggg cheated? ok imagine ward wins a wlad-povetkin decision over golovkin now what? what did boxing gain besides a terrible fight?

There is no double standard. Ward fans want GGG to move up to see the best fight in boxing after May 3. GGG fans want Ward to move up so GGG doesn't have to face him when he moves up.

How can a fighter with so boring a style ever be involved in the best fight? Do you also enjoy every Wlad Klitschko hug-fest?
