After watching Golovkin's win over Martin Murray, where the Kazakh puncher retained his WBC-interim/IBO/WBA titles with an eleventh round stoppage, he feels very confident about his chances to win. Chavez will return on April 18th, when he faces Polish light heavyweight contender Andrzej Fonfara.

I really doubt that this fight will happen. I hope that I am wrong, as I'd love to see Chavez Jr. get the beating of a lifetime. Earlier I said that Chavez Jr. may well be ****** enough to believe that he can K.O. GGG, so now I guess I have to count on Chavez Jr. being as ****** as I think he is. No, not confidence. Just ******ity.

Murray couldn't hurt him, and IMO GGG let Murray throw shots so his guard was down and he could land. At times it was GGG standing there literally keeping his eyes open when he could punch. Not a great idea TBH though, but Murray is tough.
That's kinda what I figured too. But it's just weird cause at one point GGG and Murray exchanged rights. GGG missed but Murray's landed flush. (To no effect) but for some reason the first thing that came to mind is 'damn If that were chavez he would have kablamed him'. Idk why. But here we are today having this conversation

That was quick something we are not used to, hahahaha

GGG will have to break down the body and the head will fall off.

It will be wonderful to see the fight and GGG destroy JR

IMO Chavez is worse than Murray. Murray showed class VS Martinez and won rounds, while Chavez kind of lost 11 rounds.

Murray is underrated in some ways.

I definitely felt that GGG didn't feel Murray's punches and stood there for whatever reason. Not a good idea because you lose rounds like that or could get hurt. Supposedly GGG has never been dropped ever, in sparring, as an amateur or a pro fight so he may believe he will never get hurt. That is ****** though, as you face better people, they either have more skills, are more durable or have a lot of power.

Someone like Ward would land and hold or move all day long and pilethe rounds up. Ward would school him, and I like GGG. From the Kessler fight I knew Ward was special and would win that tournament.

I will stand by my thought that Chavez would get stopped. He is durable, but he is also easy to hit. GGG would land on him all day long. Chavez has size, but I honestly don't think he has the skills or the power to stop GGG.

I'dloveto see Quillen grow some and fight GGG. I think Quillen has the speed to cause a lot of trouble.
